LexisNexis announce buyout of Locus |

Following literally years of rumours on the topic, LexisNexis have completed a buyout of Australian practice management vendor Locus.
Locus have a long pedigree of legal software provision, capturing a relatively large chunk of the small to medium market, with 1,400 clients across "Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and Fiji."
It will be interesting to see how LexisNexis go about integrating Locus's products and practise with their existing product suite (Visualfiles, Interaction, Hotdocs et al), particularly in light of the overlap between Locus Affinity, Visualfiles and Hotdocs.
