Symantec announces upgrade to Enterprise Vault |

Symantec's Enterprise Vault is fast becoming the darling of law firms crippled with huge mailbox sizes and the company have just announced plans for an upgrade.
The new version, expected to be available in early 2009 is set to incorporate features from the data leak prevention product they purchased from Vontu last year. This includes better indexing and e-discovery features and fine grained control over encryption of email and documents.
Other details are thin on the ground although it can be assumed that they will attempt to incorporate as much of the Vontu feature set as possible. |
