Although law firms are having to respond to an increasing number of RFPs for legal services (with the rise of procurement managers and panels) it's not common for firms to use any specific software to manage the process.
Enter the aptly named Proposal Software who have recently announced that their proposal management "PMAPS" has been integrated with LexisNexis's InterAction CRM.
According to their product overview the PMAPS system allows marketing staff to "capture all conceivable information about an RFP/RFI or unsolicited proposal document: due dates for all the components; the client or prospect organizations’ key demographic information, partners and associates involved; the practice areas being showcased, proposal strategy, competitive intelligence information; and space for new business outcomes and debriefing input."
They don't appear to have a sales presence in Asia Pac, but still might be worth looking into.
