Perhaps in response to LexisNexis purchase of Redwood Analytics, Thomson has sought to clarify their offering in the business intelligence space.

Their Elite Business Intelligence product shall henceforth be known as "Elite Reporting and Analytics Foundation".

Version 2.3 of the product (continuing the numbering scheme of the pre-re-branded product) features Statistics Universes, which are "dashboard-ready metrics stored in a repository".  We're assuming that means cached dashboard queries, or a dashboard specific BI universe for faster queries.
