CCH have launched a new e-Discovery service for the Asia-Pacific region, dubbed "CCH Reveal". The new product is powered by the Equivio search engine and is designed to provide lawyers with automated prioritisation of documents in large litigation matters.

The new system uses machine learning algorithms to provide more accurate filtering of documents than the traditional Boolean search terms. Rather than selecting a list of keywords to filter (which only allows a binary "yes" or "no" for inclusion) the system provides rankings of documents, allowing lawyers review documents that may not be included in standard searches.
