CCH's "Live Archive" product is aimed at in-house legal and government departments and allows them to establish an off-site backup of their records, and in the event of litigation provides a web-based interface to search the records.
AXS-One's locally deployed products allow direct integration with a firm's MS Exchange servers and document repositories, allowing for retention schedules to be automatically enacted across documents and email. If the hosted version of the product allows similar integration the product could be highly useful for in house lawyers looking to manage both the risk of potential litigation and discovery for pending litigation.
