The Sydney group is surprisingly part of the "Southern California" chapter, grouped in with Beverly Hills, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Hawaii, and South Korea.
For those interested in meeting with their peers in the industry and hearing about the use of Open Source for document and records management check out the links below. It will be interesting to see the reaction of the crowd, considering law firms' usually allergic response to Open Source, even if the software in question, Alfresco, has an impressive pedigree, being started by John Newton, co-founder of Documentum and John Powell, former COO of Business Objects.
