Telfer has spent a number of years in various roles within the Asia-Pac legal technology industry, as Executive Director of Information and Technology at Mallesons, CIO or Minter Ellison and more recently as the Asia Pacific Regional IT Director of Bakers.
The current role follows Telfer's stint as Global Head of In-Sourcing, establishing Baker's insourced IT and word processing centre in Manila. The appointment appears to vindicate the vision to establish an offshore centre and it will be interesting to see how far the model can be rolled out across the Baker and McKenzie world.
