The new version (5.2) includes:
- Support for Windows Vista and Office 2007;
- A new "save as" interface that more closely mimics the native Windows system;
- "Enhanced Dynamic Views" which "provide a clear and concise ‘business-centric’ view of content" (don't quite know what that means);
- Drag and drop support for the thousands of firms still using Lotus Notes for email.
OpenText are touting this as the first step on the road to DMX, their new product due at the end of this year. What we're wondering is what happened to DM6? Did the code get dropped into DMX, DM5.2 or just thrown away? Anyone?
