DocsCorp have once again updated their flagship PDF product PDFDocs to version 2.2.

The new version enhances their "Binder" functionality which allows multiple documents of various types (Word, Excel, PDF, etc) to be converted to a single PDF.  The extra functionality adds the ability to "create and edit templates and cover pages; edit documents in the native application directly from the Binder; set up and embed security, watermark, header and footer settings into the Binder; create Binder Snapshot(s) to prevent users from moving or deleting documents at different stages of the Binder production."

Aside from the Binder enhancements the new release is touted to add Sharepoint integration.  While the announcement is relatively quiet on the actual integration it would be interesting to see if they're matching the functionality they've built into Interwoven Worksite and OpenText.  If Sharepoint users have the same "Save as a PDF version" functionality, then a whole new market may be opened up for DocsCorp, particularly in the sub 100 person firms who are considering Sharepoint as a document management system.
