Following their rollout of Worksite, Freehills have continued their infrastructure modernisation with the rollout of Bighand's digital dictation system.

In what may be the largest rollout of digital dictation in the region, Freehills have implemented the system in their Australian offices, with the Singapore office to follow.

Of interest is the post-implementation survey conducted on Freehills lawyers, with 90% reporting turnaround time improvements, the majority finding an improvement in quality and most lawyers saying that it would increase their use of dictation.

While the press release mentions a "national Document Production Service" it is unclear whether the firm has, or intends to centralise their word processing function.
